Privacy Policy

Short version: we keep what Lou needs to do the research and show you your own history — nothing more.

What we store

  • Your email address and sign-in details, so you can get back to your account.
  • The properties you looked at, saved, or researched, and the results Lou found.
  • Documents you upload and private notes you write.
  • A record of research activity — which check ran, when, and whether a source answered — so Lou can avoid repeating work and we can spot problems.
  • Beta feedback you send us, including which page or property it was about.

What stays private to you

Your private notes, uploaded documents, client details, access codes and saved properties belong to your account. They are never merged into shared research, and nothing is shared with anyone else unless you deliberately share a report or tick a document to include.

What we never keep in feedback

Feedback carries only what helps us fix the problem — the page, the county, the property and what you wrote. It never carries your sign-in details or anything from your private notes.

Who else sees anything

Lou queries county, state and provider sources to answer your questions; those sources see an ordinary request, not your identity. We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Your choices

You can remove a saved property or an uploaded document at any time, and you can ask us to delete your account and its data from your account page. See the Terms of Service for how the beta works.
